Tolhurst InterFinancial prides itself on its valuation skills, considering itself a 'real-world' valuer where its assessment of value is tested in 'real-world' transactions. For example, if we provide a client with a business valuation it will be generally tested by the negotiations with a professional investor, whether it be a business sale or private equity transaction.

One part of our valuation methodology includes benchmarking comparable companies and transactions within a sector. This exercise involves looking to market earnings multiples implied in stock market valuations, recent IPOs and recent merger and acquisition activity.
